 Corus's dedicated Automotive Service Centre services all tiers of the automotive industry, from OEMs to pressworkers and component manufacturers. It is at the forefront of the supply and processing of materials for the body-in-white sector of the industry, as well as serving manufacturers of under-body components and wheels. Its Automotive Distribution Centre in Coventry plays a key role in enabling the business to maintain J-I-T deliveries and high levels of service to customers across the region. Its sister business, Autolaser Technologies, is a specialist manufacturer of laser welded tailored blanks. It has Europe's first Nd:YAG 2-D fully automated welding cell; opening up exciting new opportunities for vehicle designers. The business is a member of the Association of Industrial Laser Users. Innovative Solutions The facilities are maintained to the most rigorous standards, and the Business is constantly looking to develop them further to achieve even higher levels of precision and quality. For example, it has an unmatched capability to process full-finish material that enables it to produce zero-defect, skin panel blanks.
