Corus Hyfo and Nova Hyfo can supply both ERW tube and the Tubular Blank. In addition we can provide expertise in design and analysis of hydroformed components, materials selection advice and support in downstream manufacturing processes.

Q.Does Hyfo supply hydroformed components? 
A.

Hyfo supplies tube for hydroforming applications but prefers to partner with hydroforming specialists if the customer requires a finished product to be supplied.

Q.How can I access the engineering expertise that Hyfo has available? 
A.

Hyfo will provide these services as part of the overall solution if the customer is committed to placing an order for tubes. Alternatively the expertise can be supplied as a bought-out service.

Q.What engineering services are available? 
A.

Hyfo can provide hydroform and vehicle design expertise and structural analysis from the Automotive Engineering centre based in Coventry, UK. The Automotive Engineering centre uses state of the art Computer Aided Design packages (Catia, Unigraphics and I-Deas), Computer Aided Engineering tools (Full vehicle crash simulation using Pam-Crash, Radioss or LS-Dyna, Linear and Modal analysis using Nastran, and forming simulation using Autoform and PamStamp) and has developed the award winning Knowledge Based Engineering Hydroform and Tube Bending analysis applications. More detailed forming simulation using Indeed! is provided via the Product Applications Centre in Ijmuiden, NL.
