New look Awards trophy to Reward Engineering Excellence

03 Jun 2000

Winning vehicle manufacturers were presented with the newly styled Corus IVehE Motor Show Awards trophy at this year’s Awards gala dinner on 18 October 2000 (Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel). The specially commissioned trophy demonstrates the imaginative and high-tech use of metal in today’s style-driven marketplace.

"The bold, eye-catching, metal trophy captures the original elements of design aspiration and quality of the 1998 trophy and underlines the engineering excellence that is highlighted at the Awards," says Hans Beyer, Director Automotive Sector Development, Corus.

Looking under the skin of the vehicle at the Show, the Motor Show Awards aim to highlight carmakers whose vehicles demonstrate advanced, innovative and tangible breakthroughs in vehicle design.
